St. George’s-in-the-Pines is a beautiful setting for musical and theatrical performances.
Built with a vaulted, Gothic-revival ceiling, the Sanctuary has a unique ambiance and the natural acoustics in the chapel are of a high quality. We welcome and receive many inquiries from choirs and soloists about booking the church chapel for performances. St. George’s-in-the-Pines is pleased to make the chapel available for such purposes, provided the material is appropriate for the Sanctuary.

Important Details
Rental Fee: $300 (payment required in advance and is non-refundable)
Promotion & Publicity: All performers are responsible for their own publicity (posters, newspaper and radio ads, etc.). We will post a notice of your event on our website (you must provide the materials), on our community board and we have a “sandwich board” that you may use to feature a poster/signage of your event on the sidewalk the day of the performance.
Capacity: Our church seating capacity 144 people. There are 24 pews in 2 rows of 12 on either side of the isle, each pew holds up to 6 people comfortably. The center aisle is 40 feet from the back of the church to a one step riser (six inches in height and just in front of the first pew) and the communion rail is another 15 feet further.
Please Note: Banff is a busy town, especially in the summer, and it can be difficult to attract a significant audience.
