So if what Jesus is saying rubs you the wrong way, that’s actually a very normal and understandable response. Because Jesus is challenging a deep mistake woven into the fabric of our souls by cultural assumptions that have misunderstood the meaning and purpose of human life. ...

Edifying content that has deeply informed our work this season

 - What is Faith is a short but insightful video of Christian Philosopher and Theologian William Lane Craig describing a biblical understanding of faith.

- How to Judge the Church is a short video that addresses the question 'How can we take Christianity seriously, if Christians have so often departed from the tune of Jesus?'

- Prologue to an Anti-Therapeutic, Anti-Affirmation Movement is a piercing essay by Freddie deBoer on corrosive effect that pop psychology can have on our lives and offers an insight as to how to navigate disapointment in our modern age.

- How Christianity Is Different From Every Religion is a short clip of a lecture given by Dr. John Lennox on the uniqueness of the Christian faith.

- Tim Keller Memorial Sermon: ‘Jesus Came to Serve and Die’ is a powerful sermon delivered by Sam Allberry as the Christian community around the world celebrated the life of Pastor Tim Keller

- Christian Human Rights is an excellent book by Samuel Moyn, professor of law and history at Yale University, that traces the origin of modern human rights anchored in the dignity of human beings born from Christian theology and faith.

Bible Study

Bible Study

Every Wednesday at 7:30pm

The Bible is God's written word, given to us by the Holy Spirit as a revelation of God's acts in history and our final authority in matters of faith and practice.

So we're making time this summer to meet weekly to read the bible, explore and share on our weekly passage, and to grow in faith and friendship.

If you'd like to grow in faith, hope, and love, join us every Wednesday at 7:30pm at The Rectory (406 Buffalo St) with Seth & Brit as they host our summer bible study!
