Decorations
Flowers

Flowers are usually placed in arrangements on or around the altar and at the end of pews. St. George's can provide pew hangars for your use on the day of the wedding. Please discuss your plans for flower delivery and placement with the Wedding Administrator.

Candles

Candles may be placed in the window niches and on the altar. St. George's can provide candle holders of varying styles for your use on the day of the wedding. Please provide your own candles and ensure they are dripless.

Petals, confetti and rice
  • Artificial flower petals may be used to decorate the aisle of the church, but not real flower petals.

  • Real flower petals may be thrown outside the church, but artificial ones may not.

  • Confetti and rice must not be used under any circumstances, either inside or outside the church.

Photography
Photography and videography of your wedding is a wonderful way to remember your day, and we're happy to work with you to help capture those special moments.

If you plan on hiring a professional photographer or videographer, we ask that you remind them St. George's is a holy place to be respected and honoured. Above all else, please ensure they follow the preferences of the presiding priest regarding flash photography and movement of the photographer during the service.
